Emby Tower 33
Hi, I just detected that artists and album artists in one library shows me always all releases in all libraries from the same artist. I don't want to have these mix all over my libraries and hope to get an option to stop this. Thanks a lot!
nmkaufman 49
If you're trying to say an artists albums are mixed together with albums (by other artists) that they're featured on, mine behaves the same way. If you're saying there's no difference between the artists and album artists tabs in your music library, however, mine seems to be working fine. Emby Tower 33
I talked about your first option. For me it is very annoying to see every compilation which contains a track of an album artist I have. And I don't like that I always see ALL releases of the album artist, even if I seperated them via different libraries. Especially "Various Artists" is overloaded with all compilations and soundtracks and much more.
nmkaufman 49
Yeah, I noticed this for the first time just a few weeks ago, but hadn't been paying close enough attention to know if it's always been this way. On an artist's "home page" (for lack of a better word) there are separate 'abums' and 'featured' on sections, but once you view the full list of albums (if more than however many fit on the "home page") they're all mixed together. Definitely problematic for artists who do a lot of features.
Luke 37178
It's something we can look at. Thanks for reporting.
