edgar691 1
I notice a user watching a 4k movie and it was direct playing. I have default limit to 10mbps. The users device is set to auto. I looked at the log and I think it detects as if he is on my local network which he is not. Any advice?
Solution sfatula 185 Posted January 25, 2020 Solution Share Posted January 25, 2020 You can tell Emby what ranges are consider local. Go to the network settings screen on Emby. The very first setting is LAN Networks. The text beneath it says: "Comma separated list of IP addresses or IP/netmask entries for networks that will be considered on local network when enforcing bandwidth restrictions. If set, all other IP addresses will be considered to be on the external network and will be subject to the external bandwidth restrictions. If left blank, only the server's subnet is considered to be on the local network." For my network, that is: 192.168.3.0/255.255.255.0, 10.8.0.0/255.255.255.0 As an example.
