aerodyne 0 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I am trying to find a solution to get this done.I have a Macbook Pro with Emby Server Installed.I need to setup my server to connect my QNAP NAS.When I setup the server, and use my emby username or email to connect to my Emby NAS server. For some reason, I am not able to see my library, and my server looks empty.Am I missing something?
mastrmind11 722 Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Am I missing something? yes, proper permissions on your NAS. emby needs at least read access to the files.
aeroknotz 0 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 What path did you add into emby server? I didn't ask for any path when I setup the server. I just gave my emby user name which I used to sign in on my NAS and mobile app. In the emby dashboard on my MAC; The 'Remote (WAN) access:' IP address was similar to my Emby on my NAS. The 'In-Home (LAN) access:' IP was different from my NAS which I override on the 'network' menu on my 'server' menu. Please let me know if you need more details.
aeroknotz 0 Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 yes, proper permissions on your NAS. emby needs at least read access to the files. I am using Emby on my mobile phone which is working well. If the permission is not correct, this too will have issue I belive.
aeroknotz 0 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 What emby libraries did you setup? Few movie libraries based on language and a personal library which has my photos and videos.
Luke 39691 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 So you're saying the Emby web app shows no content, but the android app does?
