alucryd 216 Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 You don't create the user, the deb will do it for you. It failed to create it because you don't have enough permissions to create /var/lib/emby for some reason. I don't know how gdebi-gtk works, but please make sure you either install using the official instructions, or make sure you can actually write in /var/lib/emby.
