henryford 11
Hey all! I have a problem: It doesn't matter which version I'm using, all the outer network connections are timing out (emby-blog for news, moviedb, tvdb, ...) - every single network connection that goes out to the world times out. I really can't wrap my head around why this is happening. When I call the URLs manually it works immediatly (even with the emby user), no problem whatsoever. Only emby has that problem. Any ideas what the issue could be? I moved over from Debian, but even when removing the old config and starting new, the problem arises and I can't really update the library, because everything is timing out. I don't have a firewall running at the moment, and I'm not aware of anything that could be blocking the connections. Attached is a log. embyserver.txt Edited December 28, 2019 by henryford
henryford 11
I found that this is because of IPv6. The hosts in question resolve to a IPv6 address as well and for some reason I cannot connect to them with mono. Will figure this out...
Solution henryford 11 Posted December 29, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted December 29, 2019 It was from the hosters side - they resetted the ndp entries and everything is working now.
