Smitty018210 52 Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Hello, I'm trying to get my emulators up and running, but I'm having an issue. I can get the server and MBC to see to games (N64) but when I push play button the emulator pops up and says it can't open file? Any thoughts? buddyweiser 105 Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Have you configured the Gamebrowser plugin via the MBC Configurator? Do you have an emulator installed for N64 games? I believe Project64 is the most popular. When configuring the emulators in gamebrowser for project64, the emulator switch is "{rom}", however, I believe for Project64 v1.7 and newer(not entirely certain on how many versions) project64 inserts the quotes itself, so it will not run if you have "{rom}", and have to instead simply use {rom}. I spent an hour or so looking through posts to find the right way to set everything up so I knew I was ok on that end. It was in fact the "" marks around {rom} that was causing the issues.
