motey 2
sorry guys, couldnt find an answer by myself. Is there a way to just download the original file (or maybe also a transcoded) within the webinterface? Usecase example: I am in a Hotel and traveling home today. Now i want to store some movies/shows on my notebook for watching later while traveling by train/plane. I would need to have access on file level (SMB) to do this at the moment, am i right? Sure there are many solutions to do this, like VPN, extra Webserver and so on. Wouldnt it be great to have an option to give users a right to store a movie right inside MediaBrowser? Or is this a "Then our software will be stigmatized as piracy tool"-Issue?
ebr 14960
Remote content syncing for the mobile clients is a planned feature. Just haven't gotten there yet.
