Mechanical Whispers 5
I'm using Emby for Kodi on Windows 10, with the latest Kodi 18.5. Recently, I've had all of my movies and TV shows marked as "watched" without me doing anything. Every single one. I have no idea where to start troubleshooting why this happened. But it keeps happening. I drop a new movie into my library. Start up Kodi, Emby sees the new movie and adds it to the database and shows it as "unwatched". After watching something else for a little while, I come back to browse my movies, and the movie is marked as watched. Can someone please provide some assistance in troubleshooting this? Mechanical Whispers 5
Just replicated the issue. Here is the log. kodi.log
Mechanical Whispers 5
Also, I've noticed that when I don't finish watching something, and try to resume at a later time, it'll ask me to resume... but then when I select it, it will still start at the beginning. I don't know if that helps or is a separate issue. But it all seems to have started around the same time.
Angelblue05 4130
Do you use Trakt? This is coming from your Emby server.
Mechanical Whispers 5
Not intentionally. No idea. I don't have an account on Trakt. And the addon isn't installed. Should it be? Is this something that my log is reporting as an error? Can you please elaborate? Edited December 5, 2019 by Mechanical Whispers
Angelblue05 4130
Your server is triggering the watched events for your content, it's not coming from the add-on. The add-on is just doing what it's told by the server. If you had for example, the trakt plugin installed on your server, maybe you have a daily task that is triggering an import of your watched status. Is this still happening? Do you use nfos? Mechanical Whispers 5
It's still happening. I don't know what you mean by "do you use nfos", so I guess not? But I was just watching a TV show in Kodi, and a message popped up from Emby saying "deleting libraries". Now I have no content in Kodi at all. And when I launch the Emby server interface, nothing is in my library either. WTH? I absolutely didn't touch anything!
Angelblue05 4130
https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/ Please post this here with your server log https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/53-generalwindows/ or under the correct server platform https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/115-emby-server/ As I said before, this has nothing to do with Kodi, or Emby for Kodi. The add-on would never trigger delete content like this or all the watched status to be changed, not without your user input. This really sounds like a server issue.
