Upgraded to 4.4.0.40 and still seeing the same effect :(

It's resolved for the next update but let's be clear, this is a Vivaldi defect.

I would assume when the patch update is pushed for stable release.  As there is another topic.

Just used the webapp to connect to my setup, and pressing spacebar pauses the video. It does _not_ take me to my user profile page (original issue).

 

Also, when I click on the video to pause it, pressing spacebar does not pause it (as this appears to be changing the selection in the web interface). if I click on the pause button with my mouse again, and then press space, it toggles the play/pause function again. So if there's any way we can tune it so spacebar _always_ plays/pauses, even after a click, that'd be appreciated.

 

That being said, the original issue appears to be solved in the web app as per your link. Yay! :D
