HappyMedia 0
In the directory /data/Multimedia/Movies there are many mkv files and as soon as I put an *.iso or *.dvdmedia movie in these directory I get an error in the log file and none of the files can be found in the app or on the Samsung Q90 Series. Running CentOS 8 and the latest Emby version 4.3.0.26. I check file rights and that is not the problem Do I mis a plugin? 25771207960 4 drwxrwxr-x. 2 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 4096 Sep 4 20:21 . 8600636215 0 drwxrwxr-x. 8 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 140 Nov 22 21:55 .. 25773479014 4504792 -rwxrwxr-x. 1 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 4612904960 May 23 2013 Cats.iso 25773479015 88 -rwxrwxr-x. 1 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 84827 Jun 16 22:48 Cats.jpg 25773479016 1108 -rwxrwxr-x. 1 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 1127386 Aug 4 2016 'Eva Ayllon en Vivo - Live from Hollywood.jpg' 25773479017 2216840 -rwxrwxr-x. 1 happy smile system_u:object_r:default_t:s0 2270042231 Aug 4 2016 'Eva Ayllon en Vivo - Live from Hollywood.mkv' 2019-11-22 22:22:13.107 Error Dlna: Error processing control request *** Error Report *** Version: 4.3.0.26 Command line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-rpm_{version}_x86_64.rpm Operating system: Unix 4.18.0.80 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///opt/emby-server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 12 Program data path: /var/lib/emby Application directory: /opt/emby-server/system System.EntryPointNotFoundException: System.EntryPointNotFoundException: Entry point was not found. at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.ITranscoderSupport.CanExtractSubtitles(ReadOnlySpan`1 codec) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.GetExternalSubtitleProfile(MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, MediaStream subtitleStream, SubtitleProfile[] subtitleProfiles, PlayMethod playMethod, ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport, Boolean allowConversion) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamBuilder.GetSubtitleProfile(MediaSourceInfo mediaSource, MediaStream subtitleStream, SubtitleProfile[] subtitleProfiles, PlayMethod playMethod, ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport, ReadOnlySpan`1 outputContainer, ReadOnlySpan`1 transcodingSubProtocol, ReadOnlySpan`1 manifestSubtitleFormat) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamInfo.GetSubtitleStreamInfo(MediaStream stream, String baseUrl, String accessToken, Int64 startPositionTicks, SubtitleProfile[] subtitleProfiles, ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport) at MediaBrowser.Model.Dlna.StreamInfo.GetSubtitleProfiles(ITranscoderSupport transcoderSupport, Boolean includeSelectedTrackOnly, String baseUrl, String accessToken) at Emby.Dlna.Didl.DidlBuilder.AddVideoResource(DlnaOptions options, XmlWriter writer, BaseItem video, String deviceId, Filter filter, StreamInfo streamInfo) at Emby.Dlna.Didl.DidlBuilder.WriteItemElement(DlnaOptions options, XmlWriter writer, BaseItem item, User user, BaseItem context, Nullable`1 contextStubType, String deviceId, Filter filter, StreamInfo streamInfo) at Emby.Dlna.ContentDirectory.ControlHandler.HandleBrowse(IDictionary`2 sparams, User user, String deviceId) at Emby.Dlna.ContentDirectory.ControlHandler.GetResult(ReadOnlySpan`1 methodName, IDictionary`2 methodParams) at Emby.Dlna.Service.BaseControlHandler.ProcessControlRequestInternal(ControlRequest request) at Emby.Dlna.Service.BaseControlHandler.ProcessControlRequest(ControlRequest request) Source: MediaBrowser.Model TargetSite: Boolean CanExtractSubtitles(System.ReadOnlySpan`1[system.Char])
Luke 37256
Hi, .iso support is only experimental. For the best experience possible i would suggest converting to mkv.
HappyMedia 0
Fine when it is experimental, but it blocks alle media on my devices. On my Samsung TV says the directory is empty, but it's not, there a lot of mkv files.
HappyMedia 0
Do I need to install nv-codec-headers.noarch? It is not yet installed.
Luke 37256
i would suggest removing the .iso file.
HappyMedia 0
Remove the iso file's is not an option for me.
Luke 37256
I understand, and yes this is something we can look into, I was just trying to offer a suggestion for immediate resolution.
HappyMedia 0
I install nv-codec-headers.noarch on a test server, but it made no solution. If I can test something for you let me know.
HappyMedia 0
On my test server i down grade to the latest version which works: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-rpm_4.2.1.0_x86_64.rpmNow I can see and play my iso files again. HappyMedia 0
Not all iso file can be played, i think it this depends on the codec, but now the entire folder is no longer blocked for playable files.
