martylavender 2 Posted November 9, 2019 Share Posted November 9, 2019 Not sure if this is the best place for this but I am putting this here as I am running Emby under Ubuntu. When I am viewing the guide on, for example a FireTV, if a channel is airing a movie, the guide simply says movie. When viewing the guide on, for example the iOS app, the guide says Movie but also has the title of the movie below the word Movie. Is there a way to fix this? Ive attached screenshots of the iOS app and the guide through the browser. Here you can see it shows up just fine. Its only in the FireTV app that I dont get this information. But in TV layouts we've taken inspiration from windows media center:. So you won't actually see the subtitle until you highlight that program cell.
