amb13 18 Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Hi, thanks for this great addon. I have several movies in both 1080p and 4K quality. Playback works great and I get to choose which version I want to watch. Now all these movies are added as 1080p quality in the Kodi library, so Kodi doesn't know that there exists a 4K version before I press play. How does the addon determine which version to send to the Kodi library and is there a way to always send the 4K version? Thanks
Luke 40120 Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Hi, I don't think there's a way to do this at this time. It's more or less random which one gets added to the Kodi database, but when you play you can still pick from all of them.
amb13 18 Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 Random since seems right. Would it be hard to implement something that lets you controll the version? For example import the file with highest resolution or a context menu for which version to expose to kodi.
