dannymichel 102
Is there a way I can have sonarr send emby the latest imported episode via webhook in sonarr?
Luke 37315
Doesn't sonarr already support this?
dannymichel 102
It supports it yes, I am asking about the specific web address to use for the webhook Sonarr has a way to 'connect' to emby otb that isn't a webhook That 'connect' doesn't work. Luke 37315
I would use the connect method and report whatever your issue is.
dannymichel 102
It was reported and your answer was that at this time it's not working and that you have been in contact with sonarr. i'll find the thread in a bit
Luke 37315
And I thought it was eventually settled.
dannymichel 102
it has not been settled, no which is why i'm looking for an alternative(maybe a webhook)
Q-Droid 671
For my own education, what is the purpose of this?
dannymichel 102
For my own education, what is the purpose of this? i would say it's a safe bet 50% or more emby users mount cloud drives such as google drive for their media libraries. the down side to this is 'monitor changes' doesn't work on network drives, so you have to nudge it using something like this. Q-Droid 671
Does a Connection with an Emby API key not work? This isn't something I use since all of my media is local.
dannymichel 102
it does not work, which we've mentioned above. this is why i'm looking for an alternative
Q-Droid 671
I see. It sounds like something that should be doable using the open API, not that I know how.

dannymichel 102
When sonarr downloads and imports a new file/episode emby’s library is not triggered to update Edited October 4, 2019 by dannymichel
Luke 37315
I would enable the direct to emby support in Sonarr, and then let's go from there.
