Where do you get failed login attempt? Can you show a screenshot?

Regarding Vu+, the vu+ plugin is failing to connect to your Vu+ software:

I assume you have installed the VU+ software already and that it is running at the time you tried this, right?

I assume you have installed the VU+ software already and that it is running at the time you tried this, right?

What do you mean with "Vu+ software" ? Do I need to install something on VU+ decoder?

I installed emby plugin Vu+ on the Ubuntu Machine Server but it's blocked with open circle. Do I need to install anything else on ubuntu?

I assumed that it works like E2/VU+ addon on kodi: simply get it

  • WEBIF port of vu+ (port: 80)
  • and get it streaming port of vu+ (port: 8001).
  • Ip address of Vu+ decoder

With kodi on my nvidia shield tv everything is smooth (vu+ kodi addon). On coreelec on the other tvbox eveerything is smooth (vu+ kodi addon). I don't understand where is the problem and what is it.

where am I wrong?

Thanks

but I repeat. I think that problem isn't configuration of vu+ emby plugin because it's symply and clear, the problem I think it's in the installation vu plugin: as soon as I install it and click to configure it, the circle appears.

Is there someone else that uses Vu+ Emby Plugin? how it behaves when you go to configuration page of plugin?

Thanks

@@Luke I wanted to find the error you found yesterday in the log, but from today's log I find nothing inserting keywords search like "localhost" or "192.168.1.22(ip-lan-vu-receiver)"

It seems it's not running any process

Please remove the "http://" from ip adress input field.

I had already tried it: unfortunately nothing changes

I don't know what to try anymore: I changed fetch picon -> local path picon, access with and without user & password (logical enabling and disabling before on vu receiver)

I tried also to change vu webif port to 80 --> 8000

I tried also latest beta version of emby-server without success. It should be a plugin problem, or dependencies on Ubuntu server missing or Network problem...

Anyway, you have to write the IP without "http://" because of this from your first log:

2019-09-05 22:15:54.837 Info HttpClient: GET http://http://localhost:8000/web/getservices

To exclude Ubuntu or a network problem with your server...

What happens if you try to open this in a browser on your server machine:

http://192.168.1.22:8000/web/getservices

In a terminal window:

curl http://192.168.1.22:8000/web/getservices

Of course the port has to be adjusted to your environment.

SOLVED

it was basical permissions problem: once I installed emby media server, I used to change user from "emby" to "xxxx or yyyy".

This time I register the user as "emby" and every it's gone ok

Thanks for your support

Not currently but it's planned for the future. Glad you sorted things out here.
