hunesco 2
I have a samsung tizen 2019 tv, my question is that when watching UHD / HDR content I usually see that audio is not supported (DD + 7.1, TrueHD 7.1 for example), does this affect the video as well?? Because according to emby's "nerd info" the file is being transcoded and not having a direct play. Tks advance.
Luke 37115
Hi, sometimes if the audio is being transcoded, this will require the video to be transcoded as well. Not all of the time but sometime.
FrostByte 5052
For best results you're better off choosing an audio track which your TV does support before starting. If there is an AC3/DD+ track available pick that one, because that's what the server is going to convert TrueHD/DTS to anyway and then it "should" Direct Play Edited September 4, 2019 by FrostByte
