MetallicAchu 0 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 First time user, trying to install Emby server on Windows 10 (completely updated).I get the prompt "Would you allow this application to make changes", click yes and nothing happens. Checked task manager and couldn't find any process linked to Emby. Have no idea what to try next
Luke 39306 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Hi there, can you show a screenshot of this prompt? Thanks !
MetallicAchu 0 Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 Actually, no I cannot. I have no idea why but windows doesn't let me to prtintscreen it or to snip it, weird. MediaBrowser.Server.Installer and the normal "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" "Yes or No"
Luke 39306 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Ok so if the installer crashed, then it's possible that there will be an entry in windows event viewer about it. Can you check there? Thanks.

MetallicAchu 0 Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 Found out the problem: It's RivaTuner Statistics server! I disabled it and now the installation works fine. If someone's encounters the same problem try and disabling this first
Luke 39306 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Never heard of that. Thanks for the feedback.
