gillidn 1 Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 I'm currently running Emby on a MacBook Pro (early 2015) with latest MacOS and within the last few days have been testing the LiveTV feature. I'm also using getChannels to record but would like to use LiveTV for recording exclusively as it seems to me the Emby recording selection and playback interface is superior to Channels. However, Channels does a good job of identifying commercials allowing them to be skipped on playback on our AppleTV 4K. What are the options for comparable commercial removal using Emby LiveTV on MacOS or perhaps a Synology NAS (which I plan to eventually install). I'm currently using the Emby Guide but am willing to move to NextPVR, etc. if needed. It looks like MCEBuddy is Windows only. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
