vaise 307
I updated the shield to the latest android release and strangely I have my video drop out but still sound. The screen is all snow. Turn all off and on and back Working. Shield been bullet proof till then. Anyone else with issues?
vaise 307
More info. This seems to be caused by 4K or possibly HDR content. Once the HD is pulled out and all powered off and reconnected, watching non 4K stuff works fine all day.
jachin99 82
If I turn on my jvc tv with the NVidea shield via HDMI cec I get the same result. I believe I have to turn the TV on and then the shield to get a picture.
vaise 307
Thanks for the reply. This seems to relate to my 4K content only. Not sure if it’s specific to a certain 4K, ie HDR or not. Seems to be others reporting the same. Strange that this issue was not there since the last shield update.
vaise 307
Saw this in my news feed today - wonder if it’s related. Not all 4K causes this. Just some.
