sbadie1 1 Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 I am using ubuntu and I cant seem to connect on other devices to the emby server. I can connect and watch directly on my computer hosting the server. I have tried to follow https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Connectivity But it still doesnt seem to work and I keep getting the same error this site cant be reached. address took to long to respond. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Currently trying to open in on my windows pc but would also like to use it on Nvidia shield and my phone ect. sbadie1 1 Posted August 28, 2019 Author Share Posted August 28, 2019 Additionally, I can't connect to using my phone either. Not sure what I am doing wrong or why this is so complicated. Check to see if the firewall is running. I have been able to watch my movies on my phone though 4g, and on another wifi. So I am assuming that it should also work using my Nvidia shield when I am at work and off my local network.
