osmosy 0
Hi, I have set up two users. One for me and one for my kids. I can change the subtitle settings for my own user so they don’t automatically appear every movie. However, for the other user, there isn’t a subtitles settings option when clicking the profile picture. That means subtitles are showing for every movie they play. What do I need to do to turn off subtitles for all users? Thanks O
osmosy 0
Forgot to mention that I can’t even get to the settings page pf the other user as I can’t find a way to see the profile: unless I go through the server dashboard, which gives different options. Luke 37062
Hi, where are you looking? All users have subtitle settings.
osmosy 0
I simply can’t find/access the user’s settings in the same way I can my own. That’s using the iOS app as well as the web interface. If I click on the head/shoulders icon, I get to the user settings for MY user and that’s it. No option to switch to the other user and change those same settings. The only settings I can change for the other user are via Server Dashboard > Users. But as mentioned, that doesn’t show any options to turn off subtitles. osmosy 0
Ugh. Just worked it out. Signed out of my user and then it showed the other user I could sing into. Therefore allowing me to get to the settings. Sorted now.
Luke 37062
Right, the user needs to be signed in. What were you expecting before?
osmosy 0
Right, the user needs to be signed in. What were you expecting before? I guess I thought of the main user as an administrator that could alter all user's settings. Much like you would for a domain name and each user's e-mail account. Luke 37062
You can, but there's a special link for it on the edit user screen.
