paulie99 1
Hello all, Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so I apologize if it isn't. I am unable to add users to my remote access by adding their email addresses in the emby connect box in the users page. Not sure what the issue is, but I have attached a log if anyone has a suggestion. Thanks very much in advance, Paul emby log-081919.txt

Luke 37110
Outgoing communications are failing. Does your server machine have an internet connection? Is it behind a VPN?
paulie99 1
I have a funky weird setup due to Rogers ignite (it's a pain, but the family likes it for some reason). I made some changes to my router, I will test and see if that works. It may also explain why the movie DB doesn't want to download posters or actor images. Thanks very much for the quick replies, much appreciated! Cheers, Paul

paulie99 1
Well that didn't seem to work. I ran the port check on canyouseeme on port 8096, and it shows as open. Would port 8920 needed to be forwarded as well? Cheers, Paul
Solution paulie99 1 Posted August 19, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted August 19, 2019 Well, apparently the third reboot did the job. I think there was some gummed up data on my server, but whatever was blocking the connections is now gone, and it tested perfectly. Thank you for the support, again, much appreciated!
