I was thinking of using Emby only for movies for now, I do play music a lot, in the car, home, phone and at work. I love Emby but it lacks ome music features that could take years to come, since it's main feature is movies. I will come back for the music feature overtime. abescalamis 76 Posted August 18, 2019 Author Share Posted August 18, 2019 (edited) I been using Emby for 3 years, I have the lifetime licence, and will still use it to play music on my TV at home, but I do use music in a very extensive way. Since Emby doesn't have an export playlist feature, I been using M3U playlist to move around, but on an Emby update my playlists got mess up, and after it got fix, my Synology nas have some issues with some songs and M3U playlists. (https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/73348-m3u-music-playlist/) List of needed features. No export playlist. No playlist support for sync/downloaded music. The filters for downloaded/sync music is the filter use for movies and useless for music. No full screen for music with swipe(for car use).
