.nfo files since last update

I've just noticed since the last update, or the one before, new files are also getting NFO files generated with Library import.  Sure enough, if I look at my Library properties, NFO is checked.  I had not used this previously so I'm unsure if this is an accidental change with the upgrade or now default.  (I am on a Synology, but posting here incase it was a "general" issue.)

 

I'm fairly indifferent to this if it is now default behavior.

By default the setting is off on new libraries.

 

Primary pro of writing nfo files is if you customized metadata it is saved for future use, otherwise information is only written to the database and can be lost.  Also Emby will always read existing metadata instead of going to the internet if it exist with media.

 

Cons none for me, but others may think metadata and images clutter the media folders.
