Grichecth 0
Hi, I'm having this issue with other Win 8.1 apps as well so I suspect perhaps my issue is with the app system itself but anyways, When I play video's instead of black bar's like you'd normally get I get white bars. If I was to play a video from the desktop (ie: Netflix in the browser vs Netflix in the app) it's perfectly fine. The only app that doesn't do the white letterboxing is VLC. I know this isn't the support forum for other applications but what made me think to contact was that VLC doesn't have the issue so it must be something, perhaps kinda hackish, fixable via the developer. Any ideas on what I could try? Thanks
Wowieboy 0
Hi, I'm having the same problem also. I contacted the developer and he responded with: There are 2 different themes, available by bringing out the charms menu (swipe from right edge or move mouse to upper right corner) and click settings -> General - Use light theme.Since you haven't changed theme though, you most likely use the dark theme and a bug has presented itself. I'll look into it. I'm sure it will be resolved soon.
