DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Trying to create a Movie Collection for the following: 300 (1080p version) 300 Rise of the Empire (1080p version) 300 Rise of the Empire (3D version) The two versions for the 300 Rise movie are in the same folder so I can use the "Version" drop-down to select which one to watch. This is working correctly. The problem is when adding the movies to a Collection, only the 300 movie gets added. I've looked at xml for the collection created. The 300 movie is there as well as the 300 Rise 3D version movie. The 1080p version of 300 Rise is not. I've tried manually adding the 1080p version to the xml - No Luck though. 300: Rise of an Empire 300: Rise of an Empire
Luke 39785 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Hi, don't pay attention to the xml, pay attention to what you see on screen in the Emby app when you view the collection. There will only be one of them added in the xml, but that's irrelevant.
DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 (edited) Thanks Luke, Edited July 16, 2019 by DarkKniyt (John)
Luke 39785 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Now that you know this, what exactly is the problem?
DarkKniyt (John) 6 Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 Luke, It's as I stated in the original post, I have 3 movies, 300 (1080p version) 300 Rise of the Empire (1080p version) 300 Rise of the Empire (3D version) 300 Rise versions are in the same folder so I can utilize the "Version" option. I want to create a Collection for the 300 movies but when I try to, only the 300 (1080p) movie shows up. The 2 versions of 300 Rise do not show up in the collection.
Solution Luke 39785 Posted July 16, 2019 Solution Posted July 16, 2019 Ok, yes there is an issue related to adding multi-version movies to collections in 4.1.1. please try this again following the upcoming 4.2 release. Thanks. 1
