flakie 11
Made the mistake of trying to play an mkv during the initial scan of the system. ffmpeg is eating all the cpu. Rebooted nas in an attempt to stop it but it has started up again. How do I kill it? <edit> ii pressed pay for a whole season, accidentality. did not think nothing of it at the time. but just noticed ffmpeg running for couple of hours, even though nothing playing</edit> <edit 2>ok logs show a different video mentioned to what i was playing. dont really understand the logs but maybe it is image extraction? if so why has ffmpeg used so little cpu up until now?</edit> Edited July 5, 2019 by flakie
Solution flakie 11 Posted July 5, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted July 5, 2019 Never mind. Just seemed to be a few problematic files. Back to reasonable cpu use now.
