Question about sync process with beta server

So new episodes came on and it's the same..., new series works perfect, but if it was in my library before, it's a no go. e.g snowfall premiere last night, that showed up..... Queen Sugar is on going...didn't show up....weird

Update: so I turn off nfo saver base on an error in the log and did a full metadata refresh on the library...I start up kodi and everything is updated all episodes accounted for... So once again I'm going to wait and see if this helps without my intervention..

Again, while Kodi is running as well (if you edit the metadata > save), does it trigger an update for it in Kodi after a few?

Got the same problems.

Emby Server 4.2.0.27 @ Windows Server

LibreELEC (Leia) 9.0.2 MR

all new content wont be synced.

if i repair or wipe the local db movies and new episodes will come up.

Provide both your Kodi log and your server log from that time, thanks.

Can you also confirm if this is only at startup, or even when Kodi is running already (live updates, I am not talking about when repairing libraries)?

Your Kodi log shows that it did receive updates for movies and music albums, you also have some userdata updates for episodes.

Can you tell me the title of a specific example that didn't show up? Thanks.

And you say if you do a refresh metadata for that movie, while Kodi is running, nothing happens?

Hm ok, for now this movie triggers after meta-update, but not initial after scrap it to db.

i even dont see any more db update after restart, like it was before

Can you provide updated logs? Really appreciate it. Sounds like your issue is more event related after all.

The missing episode seems associated with id 39907 in the server log. But instead of being added, it is triggering a remove event? In the Kodi log, it's looking for 39907 to be removed. User expects that episode to be added, there's no other mentions in the server log it seems, there's no add event for that episode being triggered (around line 1000).

Maybe there's an issue with using an external trigger vs library monitor?

What exactly are you doing when you are adding content, are you deleting files, renaming folders?

That's why I had you test the same builds, just in case it was related. Please try this latest one, I have one a bug that would explain why episodes were not being added/updated. Thanks for your patience.
