In what format should the formatting of the pendrive, FAT, NTFS, indifferent? It would be great if images of the installation screens were posted, or they would serve as a tutorial, since many clients are lazy and insecure. Thanks for any tip.

FrostByte 5219 Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 FAT seems to work too for me, According to my 2018 manual though "The TV supports the FAT, exFAT, and NTFS file systems." Also, the usb needs to be in write mode when plugging in. The TV will write a file and an empty folder to the usb

On the installation via USB, are there any risks of causing TV problem if something goes wrong during installation, such as incompatible TV model or power failure in the installation process? It is fundamental to be sure that no risk exists, to avoid stress and financial losses with repairs of problems caused.} Thank you
Solution FrostByte 5219 Posted July 3, 2019 Solution Posted July 3, 2019 The install takes about 5 seconds so you would have to be really unlucky to have a power outage in the middle of install. Once you push the usb in there will be 3 quick messages and then it's done. 1

CarlosLima 150 Posted July 5, 2019 Author Posted July 5, 2019 Hi,Coming back in theme Samsung app.One client installed via USB and confirmed that it was simple and very fast, but unfortunately reported playback problems.He has Samsung Tizen and also LG webOS and made tests by playing the same movies on the two tv.At LG, everything reproduced perfect.At Samsung, several of the same movies did not play, displaying streaming error.Already in episodes, they reproduced all in LG and also in Samsung.I use strm files.Any tips on the same movie not only play on Samsung tv?I also tested the same movies on Android smartphone and Windows PC and everyone is perfect.

CarlosLima 150 Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) My feedback.Earlier today I did the USB installation on Samsung Tizen from a client. It did not take more than 10 seconds. Very fast and very simple too.The picture quality was spectacular in 1080p and also in 720p. I used a formatted pendrive 16GB on the FAT32 system and extracted the file tizen.zip directly to the pendrive. I turned off the TV, snapped the USB stick and turned the TV on, the installation occurred automatically, leaving the Emby app in the "My app" Edited July 15, 2019 by CarlosLima 2

CarlosLima 150 Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Hi, today I did several tests on the application of Samsung TV, installed via usb. I have found that the .strm files with external subtitles are not played on TV because it displays a playback error. when you remove the caption from the folder, the file has normal playback.
