gatorchamp85 0
Hi there, I've noticed that since the jump to 4.1.1, Active Devices on the server dashboard no longer reports anything. I'm currently running 4.1.1.0 inside a custom FreeNAS jail. I've also tried the current beta in a jail, as well as the 4.1.1.0 FreeNAS plugin. All instances do not show any tiles in the Active Devices area (screenshot attached). As a test, I installed a server instance in Windows, and it does properly report Active Devices with the current playing file and progress. As such, I believe this behavior is isolated to FreeBSD/FreeNAS. I should point out that this is FreeNAS, which is FreeBSD 11.2. For all I know, this could be working just fine on 12. I know there are some issues with the older versions of mono and such on FreeNAS. I've attached a log in which I initiated playing a file, after which no Active Device was shown. To be clear, the Activity section does show stop/start actions, but the tiles that show progress do not appear. Log.txt

Luke 37065
Strange, nothing obvious here. How about with the online web app, how does that compare? http://app.emby.media Thanks.

Luke 37065
Ok please try this. Please open the chrome debug console before visiting the dashboard. Then visit the dashboard, and on the network tab of the console, keep an eye on for the /Sessions url. When you see this, click on it, and then you see the response from there. What does it show? Thanks.

gatorchamp85 0
I have the option to "save all as HAR with content", is that helpful? Sorry, I'm a bit out of my element on the web side of things.
Luke 37065
It's OK. I noticed one thing and added a change for the next release. Let's see if that helps. Thanks.
gatorchamp85 0
Got it, thanks for looking into it. A minor issue for sure, but I use the feature frequently to monitor the kids viewing. Cheers.
SuperMinecraftKid 5
I've also had this happen to me. Not only the active devices wouldn't show up but the buttons for plugins wouldn't show up either. For example, the Auto Organize plugin would normally show a few tabs at the top and a big Organize button on the top right. The Playback Reporting plugin also suffers from this Edited July 20, 2019 by SuperMinecraftKid

SuperMinecraftKid 5
Is there a way to fix this without upgrading or reinstalling the server on FreeBSD? Like for example deleting a folder or clearing cache? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin multiple times to no avail. I really don't want to reinstall (mostly due to reinviting all my users) and want to make this installation last for a few more weeks. It's only a few more weeks so no huge deal if there isnt an immediate fix for this. Edited July 28, 2019 by SuperMinecraftKid

(auto-organize and playback reporting) Make sure you're running the latest versions of those plugins, and then if you still have an issue, please post in the plugins section of the community. There is a dedicated topic for the playback reporting plugin. You'll need to post there otherwise the developer may not see it. Thanks.
