slangwanger 3 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Hello.Would be great to have a philips hue ambilight plugin (Sync Philips Hue lights to your screen) to use with cinema mode something like ScreenBloom http://www.screenbloom.com/ 3
Luke 38502 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I think it's a great idea for the future. Thanks. 1
93stisa 1 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 This would be an awesome addition to Emby. I think alot would get Emby for sure if this feature existed :D 1
adrianwi 250 Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 Just buy a Philips Ambilight TV which already does this ;-) 1
hayrund 14 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 This would be a great addition. I've tried some of the Hue addons from Kodi / MrMC and they work, but their Emby integration could be better. I'd love for it to exist on the native AndroidTV or Apple TV apps. Neminem 617 Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 I have just seen this add https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-hdmi-sync-box-/046677555221 Might be useful to you guys
trusselo 222 Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 This would be great! add my vote but right now... for my android TVs i use "Hue Essentials" app to sync app content to a "Hue Entertainment zone" this is only possible on the more powerful android TVs though, and you must load the app, then switch to your media app. for windows PCs Phillips has a program "Hue Sync" having the emby server do the processing of image color data, and creating the hue color sync data would take the CPU usage from the player device caused by apps like Hue Essentials, and make it possible on any device that plays emby. the guys who make Hue Essentials also have a software defined hue bridge DIYhue https://github.com/diyHue/diyHue the sync function is built into their android app, which is not posted on github, but maybe if you ask them nicely for their sync code it could give a big jumpstart. also maybe they could build in webhook functionality to integrate on supported devices.
