Emby app crashes to springboard when trying to play downloaded content without server connection

Hi,

I'm currently on a business trip and have downloaded a couple of movies to my iPad to watch during flights. Unfortunately that was not the best idea.

Wanted to watch some last night, and whatever movie I try to play the complete App crashes to springboard as soon as I hit "Play" of any movie in "my downloads" when the server is not available (iPad in flight mode).

This was 1.7.8(0) from testflight ... today in the hotel I've reverted to 1.7.7 from the official app store with no change.

When the iPad has connection with the server all is fine - as soon as it's in flightmode the play button crashes the app completely to springboard. iPad restart did not help.

The desaster is that the connection speed here does not allow to redownload the files to Infuse. So I would either:

- Need a workaround / fix ASAP for my next flights

- Need any instruction how to transfer the movie files from Emby to Infuse on my iPad

Any ideas are highly appreciated.

Thank you, Luke!

I've tested a few versions from Testflight yesterday evening (Aisia time), it's all the same.

Not sure if server version plays a role, I'm on 4.2.0.11. Will try to update to 4.2.0.14 tonight remotely, but I'm in doubt this helps (as it has no connection when the issue occurs).

Let me know if I can help with anything.

@@Luke I had a bit of hope when I saw a new testflight version today, but unfortunately still the same with 1.7.8(1).

I have the feeling that testing with different versions made it worse, meanwhile it's also crashing to Springboard when I try to play any downloaded content, even when I'm connected to the server.
