Lee 205 Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 In previous iterations of the server I could give users access to specific genre folders in music, now I can't can we add that back in please? my music is stored like thus music\genre\artist\album(s) this way If I added each genre folder to music I could just give access to say kids for my daughter and RnB etc.. for the wife, that way the wife doesn't have to wade thru all my stuff... now mine and the wifes music collection is everything and the only other way round it is to create new collections which I don't want to do. hope that makes sense!! If i look at my server settings its like.. Music folder \\server\music\alternative \\server\music\hip-hop \\server\music\rock You could chose each one of these.... In any case, the way to do it now is to create three media folders (All Music, Hip-Hop Music, Rock Music) pointing each to the proper set of locations. Sent by my HTC8X using Tapatalk No, because you said you wanted only certain users to see them. So, if you were in MBC (or any client app) logged in as you you would just see "All Music".
