Don-627 0
Hi, Really new to NAS and Setup of a new DS218Play I'm hoping this is a very simple solution. After intalling all my films and videos on the NAS I then found when trying to play back through the media server on my smart TV, it stops after 10 seconds. I've checked IP address conflictions - none found I've even connected the Panasonic TX-40AS640B to the Router via Ethernet.(Brand New Talktalk router) When I watch through my laptop (wireless) using Video station Iit works fine. Any changes in the media server seems to make it worse (DMA etc) The only Video that seems to play OK is audio TS/Video TS When I plug a portable hard drive into the USB of the TV it all plays OK from there. Talking with friends they think it could be a transcoding issue between the NAS and my TV. However I can't find anywhere to make any changes. Appreciate any help...however basic!! Don-627 0
Hi Looked through that before sending in the enquiry but not sure what I'm going to show part from a TV with a frozen picture on it. There are no error codes it just stops after 10 seconds.
