Just installed MBC, how do I tag movies as favorites so they show in the favorites? Thanks!

It depends on the MBC theme but the easiest/fastest way is probably going to be by using the web client.

Go to your movies section in the web client, you should see all the movies with the posters. Mouse over a movie and there will be some info/icons that appear. The checkmark is watched/unwatched, heart is favorite, thumb up is like and thumb down is dislike (those are more for suggestions).

There are some issues with the mouse over in IE so you may want to use FF or Chrome.

You can also click into each movie but that would obviously take longer.

Ah ok thanks. I was hoping just to use MB to do this with the remote control instead of having to exit and go to the web dashboard. It's always nicer to select a movie as a favorite while browsing it in the MB interface.

It's really easy inside MBC - just press asterisk on the movie or TV show and then choose "Add favorite".

Thanks! A good shortcut.

This is done via the context menu exactly like it was in MB 2.

Never know MB2 had that capability for some reason.

Is there a way to do it in mbc using a remote? (Sorry noob, haven't used mb2, and not sure how to pull up the context menu). Thanks!
