alex.hillebrandt 0
Hi, is it possible today to just copy a stream of HEVC with the convert feature an just convert the audio streams? My setup does not support dts and true hd and while playing an HEVC movie live transcoding is not always reliable an begins to stutter. So only way for me is to convert the dts stream to something different. With Emby I could perfectly automate this conversion when something new comes to the library. But during my tests I realized that HEVC gets converted to 1080p even if I choose "Original Quality": Input: Stream #0:0(ger): Video: hevc (Main 10), yuv420p10le(tv, bt2020nc/bt2020/smpte2084), 3840x2160 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], Level 153, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 23.98 tbc (default) Output: Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (libx264) (H264 / 0x34363248), yuv420p, 1920x1080 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], q=-1--1, 23.98 fps, 1k tbn, 23.98 tbc (default) Shouldn't it be easy to just copy the Video-Stream with ffmpeg? If I could automate this flow with new movies and episodes it would be worth a Lifetime Premiere License. Well, maybe it's possible today and I just don't know how :-D
