Double Subtitle Issue

I'm trying to get subtitles to play on my Fire TV 4K while keeping their styling. I realize that this is not possible without transcoding. I went into my user subtitle settings and selected selected burn all complex formats. Also I went under transcoding and deselected subtitle extraction on the fly. The result I'm getting is that it is both burning and muxing the subtitles at the same time so it is showing up 2 times on the screen.

 

I'm using server version 4.0.3.0 and app version 1.6.94a. 

I also had the app send logs as 09:41 EDT from user Nicholas 

 

I appreciate any help I can get as I'm a pretty big anime watcher so getting styled subs to work would be great.

That option shouldn't be causing the subs to burn in in this app as it is supposed to only govern the web app.

 

The solution here is that the app needs its own setting to burn in these types of subs if you wish.  We will add that.
