jonomite 29
I have a subdomain that is pointing to my emby server IP address. Previously, I was able to obtain an SSL certificate via DNS verification by adding a TXT value to my DNS settings. I am currently trying to reissue my certificate (which will expire soon) and the method ZeroSSL is using is http verification. I'm not sure how to verify via http when I previously used DNS verification. I don't have a webspace for my domain - it simply redirects to my emby server. Is there a way to setup my DNS settings so that it passes http verification? Thanks very much for any assistance! Solution jonomite 29 Posted April 7, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted April 7, 2019 Hah! So I discovered that ZeroSSL does permit DNS verification. I'll give that a try. Shouldn't be a problem now.

You could have always downloaded a free webserver and did the html verification, like nginx or tiny server (pretty easy to use). Glad you figured it out!
