Guest Borsk179
I having a issue with my Fire TV Emby app crashing consistently on startup of the app and have to launch it several times to get it to work, I have tried restarting the Fire TV Stick and that helps for a couple of starts but thats about it. Just wondering if there is any fixes out for it ?
ebr 14958
Hi. This is the first we've heard of such an issue. Can you please explain exactly what is happening? Thanks.
Guest Borsk179
When I try to launch the app from the Home screen on either of my Fire TV Sticks it fails to launch or if does it hangs in the loading screen for moment then dumps me back to the home screen or on rare occasions the screen just goes black and I have to turn of the Fire TV Stick and then turn it back on, if that gives you a bit more information. ebr 14958
But sometimes it does let you in? Can you reproduce this right now? If it does let you in after failing like this can you send a log from the app immediately? Thanks.

If you have the time on some of the reviews through the Fire TV for the Emby app there are some people who have sighted similar problems in the past just so you know lol

What, exactly, happened immediately preceding the sending of that log? Also, are you using wireless and what is the signal like?

When I tested this afternoon it worked fine but doesn't mean tonite when I watch a few hours of TV it might happen again I will send in another report if does. Yes, I'm using Wifi for the connection and there was an update to Fire OS today so it might not even had anything to with Emby but I'm not sure, I'm getting an excellent signal. And of course when I do finally report the problem it works fine lol.
