Loki93 2
I just did some testing with re-encoded movies that previously had this squeezing issue. I figured out that encoding assumes PAR 1:1 and therefor squeezes all movies that don't have PAR 1:1. The affected movies all had PARs like 65/45. Obviously the hardware encoders can't handle that. For re-encoding I used the following handbrake settings: Anamorphic: Off Modulus: 2 Keep aspect ratio: activated croping: custom (all values to zero) Maybe this will help people to avoid this squeezing issue until it's finally solved. Loki93 2
Well, I need to check that as I did recoding on most of the affected movies with the previously posted settings. Therfore I didn't run into this issue again. Moreover I'm now using a FireTV 4k with the emby app. Hopefully I can do this during this weekend. Cheers. Loki93 2
Had the chance to re-test with non-PAR-1:1 content. The aspect ratio ist still squeezed to something like 4:3.
