I just got "Failed to run the package service" 

I've tried to restart but It didnt solve the issue

I had to re-download emby and create a new server for it to work.

I want to report i had the exact same thing JUST happen to me like 3 minutes ago. Went to go check my Hdhomerun on sheild tv and emby was Off, and i am premiere.

 

Emby is being served up on my Xpenology (synology) ds918+ with serial./mac latest,lastest dsm. Haswell But literally everything else is working on the Xpenology.

 

I have tried 2 restarts to no avail. Will reinstall and report back asap

 

EDIT 4:31pm

 

Uninstall reinstall worked

 

Anyways. Its working again.

Hi Luke, dovedescent7 explained it very well with a picture provided. Not sure if its a coincidence or not but seems like it kinda happend same day.

A re-install did solve the issue.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Perhaps @@solabc16 will have some insight.
