ESO223 32 Posted March 28, 2019 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Brand new to Roku (literally got my first one today), but long time Emby user. When I am using my iPhone as a remote or streaming directly from the Emby app in Roku I don't see any particular way to control the playback volume, aside from changing the volume on my television. When using the Chromecast I can leave my TV volume set where I like it and adjust the media playback volume. Am I missing something or is this a limitation of the Roku? While it may be possible for us to manipulate the playback volume of the track in the player, there is no button on the remote control to manipulate this so there would be no way to get back to proper volume normally if you had changed it via a casting app... I usually turn my TV speakers off and output all volume to an external surround sound system that I leave at certain levels. Maybe someday in the future! Thanks for the quick response.
