Aussiedroid 56
Hi All, I have a large playlist with Sitcom shows that I watch generally on shuffle. I have recently updated a version of one of the shows and want to delete the old copy of the show from the playlist and add the new ones. Problem is that the show is well over 100 episodes and looks like this will take forever to delete one-by-one. Is there any way to delete entries per show or multiples at once? Is it possible to delete an entire playlist and just start again? Is it possible to manually edit the playlist file perhaps via a text editor or something else? (not sure where they are located mind you) If I delete the old copy of the show and rescan, will it auto-delete missing entries from the playlist? Appreciate any advice. Thank you, AD Edited March 19, 2019 by Aussiedroid
Luke 37112
Hi, it's not currently possible to delete multiple, but it's something we should add. Yes you can delete a playlist. And yes you can always locate the playlist xml, edit it, then run a library scan. thanks.
Aussiedroid 56
Thanks Luke, I double checked last night to see if there is somewhere to delete the playlist but doesnt seem to be anything in the web interface or ET. Feel I am missing something obvious. Only options seem to be at the show level. I'll hunt down the playlist.xml and try a manual edit. Many Thanks, AD
