kribby 0 Posted March 13, 2019 Share Posted March 13, 2019 For the most part, the scanner picks up the correct artists and downloads the metadata correctly. However, there are always a few non uniquely-named artists that have multiple entries in MusicBrainz. Nirvana and Genesis comes to mind. When checking what MusicBrainz ID was detected, it gets the name right but it always picks an obscure artist ID, and not the one you expect it to. When you do a manual search on the MusicBrainz website, the ID you expect is always on the top of the list With that said, is current Emby behavior suppose to choose the most popular MusicBrainz ID when presented with an artist name with multiple entries on the website?
