I noticed that afterwards anything I tried to do on my compter was dead slow, especially anything going out to the net. During set up I did check the choice to download media information on the net...I assume between that and the server gathering all my media info (I have a lot) my PC will be working hard for awhile? Koleckai Silvestri 1150 Posted May 9, 2014 Share Posted May 9, 2014 Depending on the PC and how you set up your libraries and what metadata you already had, it can make a number of calls to the data providers. Since a network connection only has so much bandwidth, the smaller the pipe the more of an affect it would have. Images would be the biggest issue. You can set the maximum size and tell it to download images once in the Dashboard under Metadata for each type and under Advanced. Just go through the options and set as desired.
