moviefan 184
When creating new users there should be an option to copy user preferences from a known user. Things like Library sort order on the home screen, and not displaying the worthless Playlists library which is enabled by default, should be options the Server Admin can set in advance for new users. As it stands right now I need to create a user, and then login as that user to set all of that stuff up properly before handing off the account. It would be a lot nicer if I could just pick another user and have a new account created mirroring all of these preferences which can't be configured from the server user account creation page.

shakey555 1
Yea, we've been asking for this for 5 years. The other thread has 5 pages requesting it.
Carlo 4330
Don't know if you're aware but you can clone users already in Emby using the backup plugin's restore mode. You can keep a "master" account used for permission and then after creating a new user use the restore feature and use master->New Account.
