WOL Issue

Hi all

We have an older ipad that is running iOS 9.3.5 and Emby for iOS 1.7.4.

If the server (win8.1 on local network) is asleep, we cannot get it to wake with the ipad.

I've notice on my android (Pixel) I get the option to "Wake Server" when it can't connect, but that doesn't appear as an option on the ipad.

A bit of background info, I've have been wrestling major sleep issues with the server for a while now, but I'm now using Econap which has helped greatly. It has disabled a long list of things that could wake the server, but magic packets will still wake it, which I assume is what Emby uses?

Any ideas?

Also, the Release Notes section hasn't been updated for a while.

Thanks

Chris

Looks like it's supposed to have "Wake Server" on the server selection screen, same as android.

Hoping it's not a iOS10 onwards feature.

No, it's for all versions of iOS. Are you running the latest version of Emby Server?

Ok, so after reading that, i uninstalled\ reinstalled the emby app and restarted it and......... presto, the option is there now.

Not sure what happened, but we are good to go!

Cheers

Chris
