I've got a shared folder called PHOTO that contains jpg and video files

I am using the MOVIES content type but after the scan, i still see pictures along the videos. Also it shows up in the FOLDER view instead of showing the movie wall like usual for movie content type. Does EMby always default to pictures when it identify JPG in the target folder?

How do force movie to be added only and displayed on the movie wall by default without folder view?

I even tried the HOME VIDEOS AND PHOTOS content type with ENABLE PHOTO unchecked as pictured below but same issue. Emby server is running on my synology on version 4.0.2.0.1

Hi.  Can you please show us exactly what the files look like (explorer window) and what you see in the interface?

Thanks.

That actually is setup as "Home Videos and Photos" correct?

What do you see if you click on the "Photos" tab?

Thats the issue, its a MOVIE content type and still shows pictures, the PICTURE tab shows all the pictures, makes no sense under MOVIE content

You definitely want to set that up as "Home Videos and Photos" not Movies.

But you misunderstood, i just want to see MOVIES, not the photos or the folder view. Just need movie listed that is why i chose movie content type, why is it not working?

The movies content type will not show photos.

Or you can use home videos and uncheck the photos option.

I am using the MOVIE content type like said above and also tried unchecking photo in the HOME VIDEO content type but both end up showing the photos, there is a bug, can you test on your end?

You can't add the same folder to mulitple libraries, so that may have been the problem. Thanks for the feedback.
