Zacchaeus 1
Hey Everyone, Wondering if anyone is having a similar issue to mine at the moment. I am on a fresh install of Emby Server 4.0.2.0 on a Synology NAS. All items in my extras folders shows in the library, and does not show as an extra in the usual spot. i.e. using Borat as an e.g., my filing system structure is /Movies /B /Borat (2006) Borat (2006).m4v /Extras 1. Dogs Pound.m4v 2. Massagings.m4v I have also tried lower case 'e' for the Extras directory and also the filing system structure below: /Movies /Borat (2006) Borat (2006).m4v /Extras 1. Dogs Pound.m4v 2. Massagings.m4v I've also removed the Extras directory to a temp location away from the scan zone of the movie library, moved back, still same issue. Anyone else having similar issues? Edited February 24, 2019 by Zacchaeus
PenkethBoy 2063
do the extra videos have nfo files? If so move your extra folder out of the library again delete the associated nfo's Make sure a library scan has completed Then copy your extras folder back - and emby should identify them as extras Tip: from experience when adding an extras folder for a NEW movie - wait until the movie has been identified and processed by Emby , before adding the extras folder - otherwise extras gets seen as another folder and the extras get picked up as "movies" as you have seen - its a timing thing Adding a whole Movie Library is fine and does not show this issue
Luke 37254
How have you setup this library in emby library setup?
Solution Zacchaeus 1 Posted February 24, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) I would just like to start my reply by saying that, I am an idiot. Solution: Emby Server was installed on my NAS which also contained the media repository, and for the folder path, I used the network share, i.e. \\x.x.x.x/Videos/Movies rather than the local path, i.e. /volume1/Videos/Movies It was late at night, this is my excuse anyway. I do apologise, and I also thank you for your responses. Edit: Library setup steps removed. Edited February 24, 2019 by Zacchaeus
