Why must I search for server each time? Some questions from a new user

Hello Gents, I'm a newbie here, Plex never worked for me but MB did and was hoping you could help with some minor issues.

 

1. I have MB installed on my Win8 PC and access media thru my Roku 3 and the Iphone app. Each time I start MB, it never finds the last server it connected to and I have to have it search for a new one each time. Is there any way to prevent this from happening and have it connect automatically each time?

 

2. I'd like to have the MB server running whenever my PC is on. I've added MB to the startup menu but I still have to manually open it each time. Any thoughts?

 

3. Lastly, can MB access files from a USB flash drive when plugged into the Roku?
