bflagg 2
Emby Server 4.0.2.0 Server WMC : 1.0.0.63 Build 1255Ceton Tuner Card (6). After a while (week or so) server wmc can't get TV guide information for the Emby Clients. (just gone).I have to physically restart the server, and click on Refresh Guide Data and watch for WMC to start showing its getting the guide data, so it to start servicing that info to the clients.Any idea on how to automate this?Restarting Emby or Server WMC by aloe doesn't seem to have the guide rebuild. Restartig is the only solution. ServerWMCLogs.zip Emby Logs.zip
Luke 37064
Hi, please check the schedule of the refresh guide scheduled task. The default is every 24 hours. Perhaps you customized that.
bflagg 2
It's still set to default of 24 hours...

bflagg 2
Hi Luke, I'm sorry I wasn't clear. (long days). What I'm saying is, if I click on refresh guide, the guide list populates into server wmc. after about a week, there are no TV guide listings and I have to follow the steps outlined above. If it's running every 24 hours automatically, then why would it clear the listings and I have to go through the steps to repopulate when discovered? Luke 37064
I don't know but if you can provide a full day's server log showing that it never ran then that would be helpful. Thanks.
bflagg 2
The logs in the original post didn't help?It just had to do it again 2 days ago. Logging in with emby client and viewing tv guide listing were all blank.have to restart...Server WMC shows no guide entries. In Emby clicking on refresh guide and server wmc will now begin to repopulate.... What should I enable and reap to post this when it happens again? Why, I don't know, you may have to look at ServerWMC logs to find the answer to that question. Is it possible something was offline and serverwmc was unable to reach wmc at that time? You could also consider adjusting the schedule of the scheduled task to run at a specific time when you know everything will be available.
bflagg 2
I adjusted the time to start at 6am every morning and on application startup. My network and internet connectivity has been fine so I'm confused by this. But on a side note: Since I run schedule direct on MCE and now schedule direct is running natively in emby, is it possible that they are tripping on each other?(it's all on one pc, windows 7....). on a peculiar thing... using emby web app, the guide is now blank. Channel, Programs, Schedules are populated.... around 10:05 pm...I looked in the log but couldn't find anything...Suggestion? embyserver.txt Edited March 8, 2019 by bflagg
Luke 37064
I don't see any obvious problem here but i notice a guide refresh is happening so i would suggest trying once that is finished. thanks.
